Growing Leaps and Bound

The puppies are almost four weeks old. Wheaning will start this week. I think McKenzie will be glad as their teeth are starting to come in. They are being transitioned to the nursery room. They are playing a lot and fun to watch. We are finding out who the puppy raisers are going to be for some of the puppies.

Puppy Names

We don't have to call the puppies by their collar color any more. They have offical names now:
Red Lindsay III F Yellow
Blue Lassiter M Black
Purple Lacinda F Yellow
Neon Green Lancelot M Yellow
Neon Pink Leann F Yellow
Brown Leon II M Yellow
Light Pink Leroy III M Black
Turquoise Levi IV M Black

We just have to remember their names.

Two Weeks Old

The puppies are two weeks old. Their eyes are starting to open and they are trying out their 'sea' legs. All but one weighs over two pounds. They are so cute in their color collars.

One Week Old

Puppies turned a week old. They are growing so fast, all over one pound. They are very vocal especially Turquoise, the cry baby.

Puppy Time

The puppies decided to arrive a day early. The whelp went smoothly thanks to Peggy Keefe's and Pam Flanagan's assistance. Eight healthy puppies, five boys/three girls, three black/five yellow. McKenzie was exhausted as well as all her helpers.

CCI Breeder McKenzie

McKenzie IV was bred with Paxton and Lamond. Puppies are due July 1, 2010. Her xray shows nine puppies. The two days before she was feeling very fat and hot due to the heat.
